Eat Diary
The last couple of weeks I’ve been keeping an eat diary. Everything I was eating and drinking I’ve been writing down. Keeping an eat diary is a good way to get an insight at where the problems are. Not only can you write down what you are eating, but also why you are eating.
After a couple of weeks I started to notice a pattern; I like to eat at night time. Especially shortly before I go to bed. Not because I am hungry, but because I have an empty feeling inside. I eat when I feel depressed. I usually get the “I don’t give a sh*t!” attitude and stuff some more into my mouth.
An eat diary is pretty confronting, but like I said it gives you an insight into why you are really eating. After analyzing it I have managed to NOT to eat at night time two nights in a row. And I am proud of myself for that. It’s a start. I am going to take this day by day. Every day I manage to eat ‘normal’ is like a victory!
