Frustations and pain

By Dutsji | April 17, 2008

No, I haven’t forgotten about updating my blog. I just haven’t been feeling well the last couple of weeks. Every time that I think I can fully get back into exercising I start to feel unwell again or something comes up. I know, it sounds like I am making up all these excuses to not exercise but that is not true. Yesterday I was even wearing my cervical collar again because the pain in my neck was getting unbearable.

It seems that since I’ve been sick last time around I can’t get a 100% better. I’ve had a lump taken out of my leg which got stitched up real bad. As a result I know have an infected leg with a wound that doesn’t want to heal. I am on anti-biotics so hopefully it the infection goes away a.s.a.p.

My neck is causing me lots of problems at the moment. Lots of pain in my neck, shoulders and head. I thought I was doing better lately with all my visits to the chiropractor and acupuncturist. I was even thinking about increasing the time in between the treatments. Maybe it’s just the weather getting colder that made it so bad, who knows… Fact is that it is not going well at all.

And my diet? I try to eat healthy every day, but since I am so frustrated with not being able to exercise I tend to walk to the fridge on a very regular basis. Sometimes I just open the fridge and stare at what’s in it, other times I actually grab something. Whenever I can’t control myself at least I try to make better choices. Good thing is that I don’t have junkfood in the house.

I hope this will get better soon, cause this way I won’t be losing much weight!

Have you heard of bittergoud tea? I started drinking a few days back and I can see the effects already.

    The tea controls cholesterol level.

I have never heard of that tea before, but I will definitely see if I can buy it next time I go to the mall. Thanks for the tip ;)
