I just discovered a new digital scrapbooking site. It’s called Scrapable!
Not only do they have a great store with the most talented designers in the digital scrapbooking world, they also have a great forum where you can get all your digi scrap fixes. The ladies up there are so nice and they have some great challenges too!
I have just joined their praise team!

Today we celebrated my nephew birthday. The big boy turned two…
It was a very special day as we were able to celebrate it at home with his sick brother. Limited people were allowed to visit because of his sick brother, but we were so grateful we were able to celebrate nonetheless.
Ofcourse I took enough pictures to fill another scrapbook so you can expect lots of lay outs with pix of his birthday.

Since I really liked the template for the All Stacked Up with Rachel challenge, I decided to make another one with it. It is such a fun template to play around with.
I wasn’t really happy with the result of the previous lay out, so I wanted to see if I could come up with something better. And on the picture on the left you can see the result. On the lay out you can see my adorable nephew who just got a new cap and was showing it off like a true model.
I used the kit “Life is a beautiful thing” by Connie Prince.
Yesterday I entered another challenge; The March Element Challenge. The element we had to use in our lay out is a curled page. I love curled pages, but to be honest I hardly ever use them. Reminder to myself; use them more often!
The kit Endless by Armina Designs was just perfect for this challenge as it already came with a curled page. It’s actually the first time that I’ve used this kit to scrap a picture with, but I think I will definitely use this kit more often. I really love the feel of it.
I really love a challenge and today is the first time I entered a lay out for the Scraplife Challenge. The Gotta Pixel forum has such awesome challenges, if you haven’t so already, make sure you check it out.
It’s a nice challenge; they pick a lay out from their extensive members gallery and you get to scraplift it. You can get inspired by all sorts of stuff of that lay out; the colors, the lay out itself, use of papers or elements, etc. You really can’t go wrong here. I got inspired by the lay out itself.
I used the kit Tuesday Morning by the lovely designer Isabel Mendez. And the picture I used is of my lovely nephew Daan. I just love his smile. Whenever he smiles he brightens up the whole room!
