DutsjiWelcome to my blog. My friends call me Dutsji. I have created this blog to write about my journey to better health and a body I feel happy in.

I can only blame myself for putting on a lot of weight; I stopped exercising after a car accident and started eating my frustrations away. I quickly gained a lot of unwanted kilo’s and had to start taking medication for a high cholesterol.

I intend to lose my excess weight by eating more healthy and exercise. I have signed up with the gym just before Christmas to exercise. A gym membership is never cheap and I hate wasting money, therefor it’s almost a guarantee that I will go. For the record: I enjoy going to the gym!

I’m keeping an eat diary where I write down everything I eat. That way I can monitor where I go wrong and know how to fix it. Whenever I get frustrated I will try to distract myself so I won’t turn to food for comfort.

I am focusing my weight loss journey on a day to day basis and small goals that I will set myself.

My start weight at the 22nd of December 2007 was 86.4 kg. My goal is to weigh 60 kg at the 22nd of December 2008.
