Eat Diary

The last couple of weeks I’ve been keeping an eat diary. Everything I was eating and drinking I’ve been writing down. Keeping an eat diary is a good way to get an insight at where the problems are. Not only can you write down what you are eating, but also why you are eating.

After a couple of weeks I started to notice a pattern; I like to eat at night time. Especially shortly before I go to bed. Not because I am hungry, but because I have an empty feeling inside. I eat when I feel depressed. I usually get the “I don’t give a sh*t!” attitude and stuff some more into my mouth.

An eat diary is pretty confronting, but like I said it gives you an insight into why you are really eating. After analyzing it I have managed to NOT to eat at night time two nights in a row. And I am proud of myself for that. It’s a start. I am going to take this day by day. Every day I manage to eat ‘normal’ is like a victory!

Welcome to my new blog. My friends call me Dutsji. I’ve created this blog to write about my weight loss journey.

My start weight at the 22nd of December 2007 was 85.4 kg. My goal is to weigh 60 kg at the 22nd of December 2008. I intend to lose the weight by eating more healthy and exercise.
